Is Botox® legal for dentists to perform in Ontario?
Yes. The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) permits dentists to perform Botox injections for both therapeutic and aesthetic purposes within the head and neck region, provided they have proper training. Our curriculum is designed to meet all RCDSO requirements.
Will I actually practice on live patients during the course?
Absolutely. This is a hands-on course where you will perform Botox® injections on live patients under direct supervision. Doctors who bring their own patients are eligible for special pricing, and patients can also be provided.
Do I need to bring my own patient?
Bringing your own live patient model is optional. If you do not bring a patient, live models will be provided for hands-on injection practice.
What if I have no experience with injectables?
This course is designed for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. We start with the fundamentals — anatomy, mechanism of action, safety protocols — before moving to hands-on injection practice. Many of our most successful graduates started with zero injectable experience.
How soon after the course can I start offering Botox®?
You can start the very next day. The course provides everything you need: clinical knowledge, hands-on practice, documentation skills, and patient consultation protocols. Many dentists perform their first independent treatment within a week of completing the course.
What's included in the course fee?
The $1,795 course fee includes: full-day training (8 CE hours), hands-on practice with live patients, clinical photography training, course materials and reference guides, and ongoing email support. All supplies for practice are provided — you just need to show up ready to learn.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation must be received 21 days prior to this course date for refund.
Can my dental assistant or hygienist attend?
Yes. Auxiliary staff are welcome to attend in support of their dentist. They will learn about patient care, documentation, and practice integration. Auxiliary staff may attend for a registration fee of $95 (non-associates).
Where exactly is the course held?
The course is held at Sinclair Dental's state-of-the-art training facility in Mississauga, Ontario. The address and detailed directions will be provided upon registration. Free parking is available on site.
